Master Street Address Guide (MSAG) Database: A database of street names and addresses in a geographical area. Used to assign end users (as groups and/or as individuals) to certain 9-1-1 Call Centers.

Customer Billing Records: Telephone company records with customer's names, addresses, and telephone numbers.

Automatic Location Identification (ALI) Database: The result of Customer Billing Records having been processed via the MSAG database.

Selective Routing (SR) Database: A database on a Telephone Company's telephone switch used to route 9-1-1 calls to the proper Call Center. This database is updated by the results of the processing of the databases above.

Database administration of this type is typically "outsourced" by a 9-1-1 provider to a third party. At GenDesign, we handle this all "in house". Statistics for the performance of your E9-1-1 system are typically required and often very useful. These would include items such as:

1. Number of Calls month/year today
2. Types of Calls
3. Number of records processed and from what sources
4. Number of mis-routed 9-1-1 calls
5. other information as required.
